The Panthers may be ready to attack, still smarting from last week's defeat.
Friday night's matchup against neighboring Hillsborough is often a season highlight—usually not because of the conference implications, but because of the proximity of the rival.
This week's game might be more interesting than usual, with both teams coming off losses last week—the Panthers took a 24-0 beating at no. 18 Hunterdon Central, while the Raiders battled with undefeated Westfield, losing 29-8.
For the Panthers, a win would put them in the winning column for the season, with a 2-1 record. The Raiders will be looking to keep the season from getting deeper in the red.
The game at Hillsborough High School kicks off at 7 p.m.
