92-Unit Luxury Apartment Complex Is Coming To The Caldwells

THE CALDWELLS, NJ — A new luxury apartment complex will be coming soon to Passaic Avenue in West Caldwell.

Real estate development firm Accordia recently announced that it has received final site plan approval for “The Vail,” located at 780 Passaic Avenue, across from the Mountain Ridge Country Club.

The complex will include 92 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Reserved covered parking will be available to residents. Other amenities include a fitness center, a community room and co-working offices.

New Jersey-based firm Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners has been tapped as the project’s architect.

A groundbreaking is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, the firm said.

“With a population of around 11,000, West Caldwell is recognized for its municipal services, school system, and proximity to the vibrant downtowns of Caldwell, Montclair and Bloomfield,” the company said, lauding the town’s mix of “suburban calm and regional access.”

“West Caldwell has been an amazing town to work with,” said Gregory Wovna, senior vice president of development at Accordia.

“They’ve been supportive and responsive every step of the way, and we are ecstatic to be part of the community,” Wovna said.
