Caldwell Council Swears In 2 Members, Elects President For 2025
Two councilwomen were sworn in and a president was chosen during this week's reorganizational meeting of the Caldwell Borough Council.

CALDWELL, NJ — Two councilwomen were sworn in and a president was chosen during the 2025 reorganizational meeting of the Caldwell Borough Council.
Barbara Ziglear Buechner and Dana Hunkele – who emerged victorious in the 2024 council election – were each sworn in as council members at Tuesday’s meeting, which took place at First Presbyterian Church on Bloomfield Avenue.
Meanwhile, Darren Daniolowicz was elected as council president.

Appointments for municipal committees and boards were also authorized at this week’s council meeting, including the planning board, zoning board of adjustment, library board of trustees, board of health, local assistance board, rent review board, and environmental commission.
