Candidate Cipoletti's Team Grows C-WC Board of Education Election Draws Near

Mike Maguire and Darren Fusaro have joined Daniel Cipoletti's campaign team for the upcoming Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education election. 

Maguire will be handling all communication aspects as campaign manager and Fusaro will be treasurer. Both are long-time residents of the community and active volunteers in the area.

“Darren and I feel Dan Cipoletti is ready to address the challenges facing the board of education,” said Maguire in a press release. “Sharing resources, open communication and fiscal responsibility are just some of the areas Dan is ready to focus on.”

Cipoletti will be one of five candidates vying for two open seats on the board in the Nov. 5 election. 

Incumbent board members Rosanne Hansen and John King will be challenged by Cipoletti, Marie Lanfrank and Charles Alberta.

About Maguire

Maguire graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1986 and attained a Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University in 2008 in Strategic Communication.   He has been employed by Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, for over 20 years. 

Prior to Business Wire, Maguire worked for SportsTicker, a division of Dow Jones.

Maguire is a past president of the West Caldwell Gazebo Committee and is a member of the West Caldwell Pool Utility Advisory Board. He is also membership chairman for the Shillelagh Club, West Orange.   

Mike is married to Julianne and has two children in the Caldwell West Caldwell school system.

About Fusaro:

Fusaro graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1992. Fusaro's career has been entirely devoted to working in public accounting and he is a partner with McIntee Fusaro Del Corral, LLC  in Fairfield.

In addition to being a licensed CPA, Fusaro has earned the designation as Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also a member of the AICPA, NJSCPA, and ACFE, and has served as a trustee for the NJSCPA and as the president of the Morris/Sussex Chapter of the NJSCPA. 

Darren is currently the treasurer for three non-profit organizations in the West Essex area.

Fusaro is married to AnnaMarie and has two children in the Caldwell West Caldwell school system.
