The class Ready ... Set ... Restart Your Engines! will be held on Aug. 19-21 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Trinity Academy, at 235 Bloomfield Ave. The three classes will help children refresh their academic skills before the start of the new school year.

Students do not need to be currently enrolled at Trinity Academy to participate; the program is open to all area incoming kindergarten and first grade students.

The program will be run by Trinity Academy primary education teachers Nancy Lentini and Leslie Salazar. Skills and concepts will be taught using hands-on activities and games, enabling children to restart their minds after a relaxed summer.

The three-day session will provide children with a fun, educational activity during a time when many other camps and recreation programs have ended.  The program is free, but space is limited.
