Gas Price Dips Below $3 In The Caldwells, Online Tracker Shows (Here's Where)

CALDWELL, NJ — How much does gasoline cost in the Caldwells? As of Thursday, drivers can fuel up for less than $3 per gallon at one local gas station, according to an online price tracker.

GasBuddy, the crowd-sourced tracker of discount prices, recently released its annual Labor Day forecast, predicting that prices will reach the lowest they’ve been in five years. Read More: Major Shift In NJ Gas Prices Expected For Labor Day Weekend

Gas was selling at $2.76 (cash price) at Importech, 250 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, according to GasBuddy.

The average cost of a gallon of gas in New Jersey was $3.03 as of Thursday afternoon. The lowest price was $2.71, which was reported at gas stations in Freehold (Eagle), Fords (Fuel 4) and Ewing (BP).
