From CWC Education Foundation:The CWC Education Foundation will host their 3rd annual 5K at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 20 at James Caldwell High School (JCHS). The NJ Track and Field-sanctioned event is open to longtime runners and those just looking to contribute to a local cause.

The 5K will route runners and walkers from James Caldwell High School up Westville Avenue where they will enter Grover Cleveland Park. After taking a loop around the pond, runners will return to JCHS where entertainment will include a DJ, refreshments and sponsor tables.

According to a news release, 100 percent of profits generated from the CWCEF 5K go toward programs and materials benefitting all children in the CWC school district. Some of the recent programs the not-for-profit Education Foundation has funded include a Greenhouse Garden at the Grover Cleveland Middle School (GCMS), a broadcasting booth at JCHS, and a writing program and redesign at the elementary schools’ media centers.
