New Cell Tower Going Up In North Caldwell (Here’s Where, When)

A new cellular tower is being built in North Caldwell. It will service T-Mobile and Verizon.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — A new cellular tower is being built in North Caldwell, with the first phase of the project kicking off this week.

According to an advisory from the Borough of North Caldwell, the project will begin on Monday at the corner of Arbor Road and Mountain Avenue.

This initial phase – led by T-Mobile as the primary carrier – is expected to take about four months to complete, officials said.

Phase 2 of the project involves the potential addition of Verizon equipment on the same tower. The borough is currently in the final stages of negotiation with Verizon, officials said.

“We appreciate your patience as we work to improve wireless coverage in the area,” the borough’s message concluded.
