Camden County builds 60-unit supportive housing complex unsheltered residents (whyy.org) — Camden County is building a $22 million, 60-unit supportive housing complex in Blackwood to help reduce homelessness for Camden-area residents by mid-2026. Unhoused people will get up to two years in studio apartments plus help with health care, documents, employment, and permanent housing, using a “housing first” approach that doesn’t require sobriety before entry. 
2. NJEDA and CoreWeave Announce Creation of $20M AI Hub Fund to Support Innovative Startups (njeda.gov) — Camden is slated to host part of a new multi-location AI Strategic Innovation Center backed by a $20 million NJ AI Hub fund for startups. The NJEDA, CoreWeave, and partners say the initiative will help AI entrepreneurs statewide access capital, mentorship, and accelerator programs, potentially bringing high-tech jobs, research partnerships, and new business activity to Camden alongside Mullica Hill and Trenton.
3. Former NYPD officer sentenced to 10 years for road rage shooting in New Jersey (abc7ny.com) — A former NYPD officer has been sentenced in Camden to 10 years in state prison for a road-rage shooting in Voorhees that left one man paralyzed and another driver badly injured. The victim’s family, now relocated to Texas for his full-time care, described the devastating impact in court, while the defendant apologized and faces a separate civil lawsuit involving New York City and the NYPD.
