• Woodbridge off-duty police officer killed in Carteret crash (mycentraljersey.com) — A Woodbridge police officer was killed late Tuesday night in a serious crash on Peter J. Sica Industrial Highway in Carteret, now under investigation by borough police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. Authorities identified the victim as Officer Michael Tenpenny, a seven-year department veteran honored for his service, while additional details about the collision have not yet been released.
