Mega Bites Events, the organization coordinating the festival, cautions those who would like to attend to be alert for ticket scams. Mega Bite Events had begun planning the June 2020 festival, which was sidelined because of COVID-19.

"After a year away we're coming back bigger and better than ever," Mega Bite Events wrote.

The group's last Food Truck Festival took place at the Chatham Middle School in June 2019.

Their event page says attendees should get ready to not only bring their appetites, but also their lawn chairs and four-legged friends, "for a day of great food, great music and a celebration of life."

In addition to the food vendors, there will be boardwalk-style games, a bounce house, hatchet tossing, face painting and more, according to the event page details.

Mask-wearing at the festival will be optional, with all CDC guidelines for COVID followed. Festival organizers will additionally provide hand sanitizers.

This is the second large-scale event making a comeback in Chatham after a year off because of COVID, with plans now also underway for the Retro Fishawack Festival, making its reappearance in September.
