With children in costume in the roles of Mary, Joseph, the innkeeper, the shepherds and a narrator telling the story of Jesus’ birth, it begins on the Presbyterian Church’s lawn at 240 Southern Boulevard, the shepherds, taking care of their flock, with songs including “The First Noel,” where the shepherds learn of the upcoming birth of this special child.
