CHATHAM, NJ — An upcoming Westfield Regional Health Department free walk-in vaccine clinic on Monday, Dec. 27 has COVID vaccines and boosters for all age groups.

Held at Westfield’s Town Hall on 425 East Broad Street and open to Chatham Borough residents, the clinic runs from 2-4 p.m.

The health department is offering:

  • The Pfizer pediatric COVID vaccine for ages 5-11
  • Free vaccines and boosters for Moderna, Pfizer and J&J Shots, with:
    • Primary vaccines for ages 12 and older
    • Boosters for ages 16 and up

According to a post from Chatham Borough, New Jersey had 9,711 new and confirmed COVID cases reported on Wednesday, which is considered a new high for the state:

They shared these holiday tips from the CDC, in responding to the virus, which include:

  • Staying home if not feeling well or if experiencing symptoms.
  • Taking a COVID test if symptomatic.
  • Seeking out a vaccine if not already vaccinated.
  • Wearing a mask in public, if not fully vaccinated, with a weak immune system or in a high transmission area.
  • Avoiding poorly-ventilated, crowded spaces.
