Chatham High School Recognizes Excellence in Effort Award Recipients for First Quarter (tapinto.net) — Chatham High School has announced its first-quarter Excellence in Effort Award recipients, highlighting students recognized by their teachers for diligence, reliability, and motivation across many subjects. From physics and Spanish to art, music, and business, dozens of Chatham students earned special recognition for their hard work so far in the 2025–26 school year.
   

2. Chatham Borough Police Report Wednesday Morning Burglary of Occupied Home on Center Avenue; Window Entry to Steal Jacket (tapinto.net) — Chatham Borough police are investigating an early-morning burglary on Center Avenue, where suspects entered an occupied home through a window and stole a jacket before fleeing. Chief Brian Gibbons says officers arrived within two minutes and notes burglaries and auto thefts have sharply declined in Chatham Borough, crediting resident vigilance and urging neighbors to secure homes, lock vehicles, and share any surveillance footage.
   

3. Morris Arts Regrants A Total Of $100,000 To 31 Morris County Organizations (broadwayworld.com) — Chatham Community Band is one of 31 Morris County groups sharing $100,000 in Morris Arts grants that will fund public arts programming in 2026. The regrants, backed by state arts funding, support concerts, exhibitions, and community events across the county, with local organizations encouraged to use the money to keep performances affordable and widely accessible.
   

4. Faith and Service in Action at St. Patrick School (tapinto.net) — St. Patrick School in Chatham is highlighting how students of all ages are living their faith through hands-on service this Advent season. From helping St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center and Helping Hands of Chatham to collecting thousands of diapers and assembling protein packs, students are supporting local families while learning lasting lessons about compassion and community.
