Austin O. Hooey Scholarship Now Open to Applicants
Graduating seniors from Chatham High School are welcome to apply.
The Austin O. Hooey Scholarship program is now accepting applications from graduating seniors of Chatham High School.
The fund, which is administered by the Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ), provides one or more scholarship awards ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 per year for four consecutive years. The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need, academic performance, and merit.
Austin Hooey, a longtime Chatham resident and one of the first female financial analysts on Wall Street, left $1.2 million to CFNJ for a permanent scholarship endowment.
