Chatham Dentist Collects Over 300 Pounds of Candy For Troops
Chatham dentist Corina Atanase said her "Halloween Candy Buyback" program collected over 300 pounds of leftover Halloween candy: report

CHATHAM, N.J.– Chatham dentist Corina Atanase said her fourth annual "Halloween Candy Buyback" program – which benefits the military – collected 300 pounds of leftover treats, TAPinto Chatham reported.
"It's great to get it out of parents' and kids' houses for their better health and to bring a smile to our troops that sacrifice so much for all of us," Atanase told TAPinto Chatham.
The Halloween Candy Buy Back (HCBB) program was started with the goal of getting some of the candy “off the streets," according to the website.
Officials in Chester also collected leftover candy for troops.
