Chatham Grad's Punts Set School Record
David Fiumara, sophomore punter and kicker at Moravian College, named to D3football.com Team of the Week.

Chatham High School grad David Fiumara, a sophomore punter and kicker on the Moravian College football team, has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his school record-setting performance in Moravian's 52-42 victory over Franklin & Marshall College.
Fiumara, who played for Chatham High School in 2012, was called on to punt four times in Moravian's 52-42 victory over Franklin & Marshall College last Saturday.
He averaged 53 yards per punt with two inside the 20-yard line as well as a career and school record long of 67 yards on his first punt of the game that just rolled into the end zone for a touchback.
Fiumara's 67-yard punt was a yard longer than the previous record set in 1994. His 53 yard per punt average also broke the school record.
"David had great focus and executed very well on Saturday," Head Coach Jeff Pukszn said. "He did an excellent job of keeping the ball away from an explosive punt returner."
Fiumara was also seven-for-seven on extra-points to tie the school record set in 2005. Fiumara scored a total of 10 points Saturday, adding a 23-yard field goal to give Moravian a 10-0 lead late in the first quarter.
He also had three kickoffs that averaged 40.3 yards, including a pooch kick Moravian recovered to set up Fiumara's field goal.
