Chatham Rescue Squad Seeking Volunteers
The all-volunteer Chatham Rescue Squad was founded in 1936.

Do you want to serve your neighbors and connect with your community in a unique way? The Chatham Rescue Squad is seeking volunteers.
The all-volunteer organization, established in 1936, is seeking volunteers 18 and older. The rescue squad responds to 911 medical calls year round and provides medical support and training for the community.
Volunteers who join the Chatham Rescue Squad will be provided with an eight-hour healthcare provider CPR course within 30 days, a 220 hour state-approved Emergency Medical Technician course and certification exam within six months and other ongoing training exercises. Volunteers will work with a crew of two or three experiences emergency medical technicians.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older, possess a valid New Jersey State driver’s license and clean driving record, and either live or work in the Chathams. Additionally, volunteers must be able to work a weekly 12 hours shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m. or 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and must be physically capable of performing the job.
