Chatham Schools Make Schedule Change For Monday

CHATHAM, N.J. - The Chatham School District will have a two-hour delayed opening Monday following a weekend blizzard that dropped more than two feet of snow on the area.

Chatham schools will operate on the following schedule:

Chatham High School – 9:40 a.m.
Chatham Middle School – 10:00 a.m.
Lafayette School – 10:45 a.m.
Chatham Elementary Schools (Grades 1-3) 10:35 a.m.

The district made the announcement late Sunday. The area was hit by anywhere between 23 and 33 inches during a 24-hour blizzard from late Friday into Saturday.

This is the first weather-related schedule change for the district in the 2015-16 school year.
