Chatham Student Named Among Best Musicians In Morris
Alex Stuart joins 10 peers as honorees.

CHATHAM, N.J. – Alexander Stuart is finishing his senior year at Chatham High School with a bang.
The Chatham resident has been named alongside 10 peers as a Musician of the Month by the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown.
Stuart was nominated by his teacher, Barbara Klemp, who said:

Alex has risen from entry-level freshman trumpet player to a high achieving senior in our prestigious Chatham High School Honors Music program through hard work, dedication, and genuine love for Music. Alex has a very healthy appreciation for a variety of musical genres, and pursues his interests through active involvement in several Chatham High School Performing Arts opportunities including Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band (Drum Major, 2015 season), and Musical Theater productions. In addition, Alex participates as a volunteer musician for activities whenever the opportunity to share his talents with his school and community arise.
Stuart and the other musicians from around Morris County were honored at the Morristown theatre on Thursday, Jan. 7.
