Chatham Theater Group Looking For NJ-Created, One-Act Plays
The Chatham Community Players is looking for one-act plays written by New Jersey playwrights by March 6 for the "Jersey Voices" festival.
CHATHAM, NJ — Playwrights from New Jersey could have the chance to see their original production onstage for the 28th annual “Jersey Voices” Festival.
The group is seeking one-act plays or musicals created by Jersey playwrights, or a writer connected to New Jersey, of any style or genre. Each playwright may enter up to three plays, their submission no longer than a 15-minute performance time.
Plays need to be entered by March 6, 2022 by email only to JerseyVoicesNJ@gmail.com.

Playwrights chosen could be contacted by the group to expand on their submission and work with a director and cast.

Those productions that are chosen for “Jersey Voices” will hit the stage in July and August 2022 at Chatham’s Black Box Theater on 23 North Passaic Avenue.
Chatham Community Players hosted the 27th festival this past August, after a hiatus in 2020 because of COVID, a recap of the 2021 festival here.
