Crash Closes Main Street In Chatham, Knocks Down Traffic Signal

CHATHAM, NJ — A section of Main Street in Chatham Borough is closed due to a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, Main Street East at Lafayette Avenue will be closed until further notice due to a truck crashing into a traffic signal.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternate route.

Officials did not say how long the closure would last.
