UPDATE: Crash With Injuries On NJ-24 Near Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ — *Update: At 8:05 a.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on NJ 24 westbound near milepost 60 in Chatham Borough. A BMW sedan and a Mercedes SUV were traveling westbound on NJ 24 when the Mercedes rear-ended the BMW near milepost 60. The BMW driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told Patch.

Motorists are alerted that a car collision on NJ 24 westbound is causing a traffic delay, according to 511nj.org.

The left lane of NJ 24 westbound West of Exit 7 – NJ 124/JFK Parkway is currently closed, said 511nj.org.

Drivers are advised to expect delays of up to 10 minutes in the surrounding area.
