CHATHAM, NJ — Police are investigating a residential break-in that occurred this weekend in Chatham Township, making it the second residential burglary in less than a week.
A residence on Woodmont Drive was broken into between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Chatham Township Police Department Chief Thomas Miller.
The suspects allegedly broke a rear window to gain entry into the house. According to police, it is unknown whether anything was stolen from the residence at this time because the homeowners are still going through their belongings to determine what was stolen.

Early last week, a home on Maple Street was burglarized, and approximately $15,000 in jewelry was stolen from the homeowners. Those suspects have not yet been caught.
"There are certain similarities to both burglaries, but to say that they are linked would be premature at this point," Miller said.
