CHATHAM, NJ — A body was found in Massachusetts on Thursday evening, and police believe it is that of Meghan Marohn, 42, a former Chatham teacher who went missing in late March.

According to Massachusetts State Police, a civilian discovered partial remains "in a heavily wooded area near Fox Drive in Lee." Local and state authorities then arrived on the scene in the Berkshires, a rural region in western Massachusetts' mountains.

Investigators are still actively searching the area, and the evidence gathered thus far indicates that the remains are most likely those of Marohn.
