I support Miles Gilmore for Chatham Borough Town Council

Miles is honest, dependable, and principled. He leads by example, values collaboration, and truly cares about the well-being of others.

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my strong support for Miles Gilmore’s candidacy for Chatham Borough Council. I have known Miles for nine years, ever since our sons met at Milton Avenue School and discovered they lived just around the corner from one another. Over the years, our families have grown close, and our son now considers their place a second home.

Miles is an extraordinary father, a kind neighbor, and someone who never hesitates to step up when needed. Whether volunteering in the community or serving as a leader in the Boy Scouts, he consistently models the values of service and integrity.

What stands out most about Miles is his thoughtful nature. He has a quiet demeanor, listens more than he speaks, and approaches every conversation with focus, consideration, and an open mind. These are exactly the qualities that make an effective council member.

Service has long been central to Miles’s life. His military career gave him the experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds while uniting them toward a common purpose—skills that directly translate to public service here in Chatham.

I know Miles to be honest, dependable, and principled. He leads by example, values collaboration, and truly cares about the well-being of others. I wholeheartedly encourage Chatham residents to support Miles Gilmore for Borough Council this November.

Sincerely,
Lorraine Teisch
