Lafayette Kids Gift Chatham’s Fire Departments Cards, Snacks
As part of their yearly "Give Thanks" program, students at the Lafayette School did something special for the area's firefighters.
CHATHAM, NJ — They’re on call every day of the year and Lafayette School students wanted to thank them for it.
Students at the school recently gave volunteers with the Chatham Borough, Chatham Township and Green Village departments thank you cards and snack boxes for their dedication to the community.

“Whether it be an emergency, natural disaster or not, students recognize that these members of our community are always prepared to respond to meet the safety needs of others,” a news release from the Lafayette School indicated about the project.
