
A woman reported her car stolen the morning of May 31, leading Chatham Township Police to launch an investigation.
Police responded to a township home at about 9 a.m. when a woman said her 2010 Lexus had been stolen from her driveway, Lt. Maureen Kazaba said. Kazaba did not say what street or neighborhood the car was stolen from.
The car was left unlocked and the key fob may have been inside, Kazaba said.

Several cars which operate using key fobs have been stolen from Chatham homes in recent months, according to past police reports.
Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to call the Chatham Township Detective Bureau at 973-377-0100 ext. 507 or 509.
