Overnight Road Closures Planned In Chatham Township
Sections of both Shunpike Road and Watchung Avenue will be closed to all traffic tonight, according to Chatham police.
CHATHAM, NJ — There will be nighttime road closures on a section of both Shunpike Road and Watchung Avenue due to milling and paving starting at 7 p.m. tonight.
Shunpike Road and Watchung Avenue will be closed between Fairmount Avenue in Chatham Borough and Ferndale Road to all traffic, police said.
Noe Avenue and Lafayette Avenue traffic will be unable to access or cross Shunpike Road, and all neighborhood access will be from the vicinity of Southern Boulevard.

Detours will be in place for all motorists, and some delays may occur, according to police.
