Part Of Watchung Avenue In Chatham Closed On Tuesday
The road closure is expected to last through 5 p.m. because of a gas main repair.
CHATHAM, NJ —Watchung Avenue between Fairmount and Washington Avenues is expected to be closed off until about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Borough of Chatham.
The borough tweeted a message to followers on Tuesday morning alerting of the closure, stating it is because of “a gas main repair.”
Alert Chatham Borough: On 12/21/2021, between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Watchung Avenue will be closed from Fairmount Avenue to Washington Avenue for a gas main repair. Please plan accordingly. Thanks.
