Photo Gallery: Green Fair 'Very Successful'
Third annual event raises awareness about environmental issues.
Vendors, parents and children were all smiles at Reasoner Park Saturday during the third annual Green Fair, which Borough Councilman Bruce A. Harris said was a "very successful" event.
The Green Fair featured crafts, products, toys and performances that entertained both young and old, such as:
- The Grand Falloons, who performed their show about recycling, water conservation and environmental preservatio.
- Dominick Rizzo of Rizzo's Reptiles. Rizzo amazed kids with animals from his menagerie, including a 14-foot-long albino snake that took six children to hold.
- Tracee Palmer, founder of Secret Garden Soaps, sold the soaps she makes from the goats she keeps in the yard of her Madison home.
- Michael Thwaite, of the NJ Electric Auto Association, who had two electric cars on display.
