I am voting to re-elect Mayor Mike Choi and Stacey Ewald to the Chatham Township Committee. Here is why I encourage you to do the same.
First a little bit about them if you’re not familiar with Mike and Stacey. Mike has been in Chatham since 2012, coaching youth lacrosse and soccer and serving on the planning board before joining the Township committee. With 25 years in real estate and private equity, Mike knows how to manage big projects and budgets. As our current Mayor, Mike is already making a real impact in his first term on the township committee. Stacey's been a Chatham resident since 1997 and brings over 16 years of financial leadership to the table. Stacey served as mayor in 2021 and again in 2024 and she’s been working hard for Chatham for years.
As a Township resident, I appreciate the attention they’ve paid to getting Chatham's finances back on solid ground, with a healthy surplus and smart debt restructuring. And I’ve been impressed with how they protected Noe Pond from development and how Colony Pool is getting a much needed refresh.
As an EMT with the Chatham Emergency Squad, I appreciate the investments in public safety with upgraded fire trucks, police vehicles, and better communications equipment.
Stacey and Mike aren’t just candidates – they are neighbors who have rolled up their sleeves and delivered for our town.
