School District of the Chathams Superintendent Runs Boston Marathon
Three other Chatham residents participated in the 119th Boston Marathon on April 20.

School District of the Chatham Superintendent Michael LaSusa completed the 119th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20.
LaSusa, 41, completed the 26.2 mile course through the city of Boston with an official time of 3 hours, 13 minutes and 22 seconds, according to the 2015 Boston Marathon results. His half marathon time was clocked at 1 hour, 33 minutes and 34 seconds. LaSusa finished 927 in the 40-44 year old division.
Additionally, three Chatham residents completed the 2015 Boston Marathon, including Anthony Malatesta, 21; John Logsdon, 50; and Cande Olsen, 65.

Malatesta finished 255th overall in the marathon and 224th in the 18-39 year old division with an official time of 2 hours, 39 minutes and 37 seconds. His half marathon time was clocked at 1 hour, 19 minutes and 4 seconds.
Logsdon completed the marathon with an official time of 3 hours, 37 minutes and 58 seconds. His half marathon time was recorded at 1 hour, 42 minutes and 37 seconds.

Olsen finished 74th overall in the 65-69 year old division in the marathon with an official time of 5 hours, 14 minutes and 23 seconds. Her half marathon time was recorded at 2 hours, 32 minutes and 10 seconds.
