School of Rock Chatham Students Tour With AllStars Band

Tour takes young rockers to The Stone Pony, Chicago House of Blues, Lollapalooza.

Six local teenagers enrolled in The School of Rock Chatham toured with the AllStars this summer, making stops at The Stone Pony, Chicago House of Blues and other prestigious venues along the East Coast.

And they did it all for a good cause. The mini-tour raised money for Love Hope Strength, a cancer charity with the motto, “saving lives, one concert at a time.”

This year’s AllStars who successfully auditioned from the Chatham school included: guitarist Teddy Cole of Mountainside; drummer/bass player Brian Culligan of Madison; drummer Chris Cummings of Summit; guitarist/keyboardist/bass player Andrew Pacheco of Berkeley Heights; guitarist/keyboardist/sax player Ben Overzat of Warren; and guitarist/violinist/vocalist Spencer Winell of Chatham.
