Senior Services of the Chathams Celebrates 25th Anniversary, Hosts Paper Shred Event

The Senior Services of the Chathams is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a number of events for the community.
Senior Services of the Chathams is hosting a cocktail reception in honor of Terry Berry, Gordon Granger and Alice Lundt, all of whom the center said have been instrumental to their success. The reception will have held on Friday, April 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Fish and Game Club, 41 Fairmount Ave. in Chatham Township.
The reception will include wine, hearty hors d’oeuvres and dessert. Tickets to attend the reception are $60.

The following day, Senior Services of the Chathams is hosting a community paper and document shredding event between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chatham train station. In addition to paper documents, the paper shred will accept newspapers and paperback books.
Senior Services of the Chathams is a non-profit organization which supports the independence of the Chatham senior community and their families by providing an enrichment center, transportation and referral services. Money raised by the center from both events will be used to benefit programs at the Senior Center.
