Victim Identified In Fatal Car Crash In Chatham Twp.
Single-car incident occurred around 6 a.m. Saturday morning, State Troopers said.

MORRISTOWN, N.J – A Morristown man was pronounced dead after crashing into several trees with his car in Chatham over the weekend, New Jersey State Police said.
Lucas Gonzalez was identified as the driver in a single-car crash Saturday morning in Chatham Township, according to Trooper Lawrence Peele.
The crash happened around 6:01 a.m. on Route 24, Peele said.

Gonzalez was driving a Ford Focus, and while drugs and alcohol don’t seem to have played a role in the crash, the incident is still under investigation, Peele said.
