As a lifelong resident of Chatham, I have witnessed many changes — not all of them for the better. Development has strayed from the charm that defines our town. Our leaders too often shut residents out of the decision-making process. Chatham deserves better.

That is why I am endorsing Joe Barrette for Chatham Borough Council. Joe is committed to reopening the doors of local government, to “work together to create a community where businesses flourish, diversity is celebrated, safety is prioritized, and every voice matters in shaping our shared future.”

For 15 years, Joe and his wife raised their sons in Chatham, instilling community values through scouting and volunteer work. As a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and a professional in both real estate and public finance, Joe brings experience, dedication, and a fresh perspective to the table.

Joe Barrette has a strong track record of service and the expertise to help guide Chatham forward. A vote for Joe is a vote for a council member who listens, plans comprehensive strategies and delivers respectful solutions for a stronger, safer, stronger hometown.
