Water Main Break Affecting Chatham Traffic Thursday: PD

Some residents are also without water service while crews are working to repair the break, police said.

CHATHAM BOROUGH, NJ — A water main break has caused a partial road closure on Watchung Avenue in Chatham Borough, police said Thursday morning.

Residents who live on Watchung Avenue between Lafayette and Washington avenues are also without water service while crews are working to repair the break, police said.

Drivers are asked to follow all detour signs, police said. The water main break was first reported around 9 a.m. Thursday.
