Woman Beats Chatham Homeowner With Pipe, Smashes Property: Cops
Suspect needed to be subdued by local police, Chief says.

CHATHAM TWP., N.J. – A female Chatham Township homeowner was attacked and had the interior of her house vandalized by another woman Monday night, Chief Steven Hennelly said.
Chatham Township police responded to a home on River Road at 7:44 p.m. on Jan. 25 for a report of an assault in progress, Hennelly said. When they arrived, police found the female homeowner bleeding and the interior of the home with “extensive damage,” Hennelly said.
Police found Shi Feng-Bartner, 53, of Hackettstown, inside the home holding a metal cylinder used in the alleged attack, Hennelly said. Feng-Bartner failed to comply with the officers’ orders and was subsequently subdued and taken into custody.
