Brewpub Shuts Down Camden Co. Location Amid Wave Of Closures

The regional chain is closing 3 different locations, including its first-ever brewery.

VOORHEES, NJ — Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has poured its last beer in Voorhees as the regional brewpub chain shuts down several locations.

The Voorhees location was permanently closed as of Wednesday, Patch has confirmed. It opened in 2013.

Iron Hill Brewery also decided to shutter one of its restaurants in Philadelphia and another in Newark, Delaware, which was the company's first to open in 1996.

A company spokesperson called the closures a "difficult decision ... as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to adapt to a changing business landscape while focusing on strengthening its long-term growth and success."

Iron Hill Brewery was founded in Delaware as a craft brewery and restaurant. The chain has expanded throughout the Mid-Atlantic and now has 16 locations after the closures.

It wasn't immediately clear when Iron Hill Brewery closed in Voorhees. Although the location's Facebook page has posts as recent as Monday, many appear to be reposts from the chain's main page.

Iron Hill Brewery in Maple Shade is the closest location that's still operating.

The Voorhees brewery was part of Voorhees Town Center at 13107 Town Center Blvd.
