Camden Co. Beer Festival Postponed Due To Rainy Forecast

Spring on Tap in Cooper River Park will be rescheduled, as Mother Nature plans some pouring of her own this weekend.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — With a rainy forecast brewing, a beer festival in Camden County has been postponed.

The inaugural Spring on Tap Beer Festival was set to take place at Veteran's Island in Cooper River Park on Sunday, which is also Cinco de Mayo. It will be rescheduled for a date to be determined.

Showers are likely throughout Sunday, with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Spring on Tap was set to include craft beers from seven local breweries, along with food trucks, live music and vendors. The Camden County Commissioner Board and Visit South Jersey organized the event.

  • Saturday: A chance of showers, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Saturday night: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 50. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Sunday: Showers likely, mainly before 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 62. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Sunday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
