CHERRY HILL, NJ - Authorities are investigating an armed robbery and carjacking at a Cherry Hill bank this week.

At around 1:54 a.m. on Tuesday, as a man was making an ATM transaction at an area Republic Bank (457 Haddonfield Road), two men approached him in the bank parking lot, with one of the men brandishing a handgun, police said.

The man with the handgun then struck the victim in the head, knocking him to the ground, police said. The men stole the victim’s car keys and fled in his white 2018 Hyundai Sonata with New Jersey license plates N93PJH, police added.

Surveillance video at the bank (shown above) shows what is believed to be the vehicle the male suspects arrived in. That vehicle fled the scene as well, police said.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
