Cherry Hill Has NJ's Highest-Reported Snowfall Total
The township may exceed its snowfall total from all of last winter by at least 7-fold in 1 storm.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A Cherry Hill neighborhood has New Jersey's highest-reported snowfall total from the winter storm.
Greentree received 3.5 inches of snow as of 5 a.m. Tuesday — tied for the state's greatest measurement — according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
That would exceed Cherry Hill's snowfall from all of last winter by at least seven-fold. Less than a half-inch of snow fell in the township during that time, according to the state climatologist's office.

The NWS snowfall reports reflect measurements as of late Tuesday morning.
Riverside (Burlington County) and South River (Middlesex County) also showed 3.5 inches of snow. Wall Township in Ocean County trailed with 3.4 inches.

The totals are subject to change, especially with forecasters predicting additional snowfall in the afternoon.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Tuesday, with the NWS predicting an additional inch of snow and a light glaze of ice during the afternoon. The advisory extends to Camden, Gloucester, Salem and northwestern Burlington Counties.
Drivers should plan for slippery road conditions that could impact the evening commute.

Here's the NWS's latest forecast for Cherry Hill:
- Tuesday afternoon: Snow likely, mainly before 2 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Tuesday night: Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 14. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
- Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 24. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
