Downed Utility Pole Shuts Church Road
Avoid the area near Chestnut Street, police advise.
Drivers headed to the area around the Cherry Hill Mall should avoid Church Road, thanks to a downed utility pole blocking traffic.
The pole came down around the intersection of Chestnut Street Tuesday, about halfway between the mall and Route 38, and it could take utility crews several hours to clear the area, police said.
Detours are in place, but drivers should seek an alternate route.
