Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis Coming To Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Two big-name actresses are set to appear at a horror convention in Cherry Hill.

Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis will meet fans at Monster-Mania Con, a star-studded gathering for all things horror that comes to the township twice a year.

The upcoming Monster Mania-Con runs from March 14-16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel (2349 Marlton Pike W).

Davis will attend the convention's final two days, and Sarandon will be there on March 15.

The award-winning actresses each rose to prominence in films that re-imagined the horror genre — Sarandon in cult-classic musical "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) and Davis in the comedy "Beetlejuice" (1988).

Sarandon and Davis also had leading roles in crime drama "Thelma & Louise" (1991).

Monster-Mania Con continues to build a guest list for the upcoming event. But fans should note that all confirmed appearances are subject to cancelation because of factors beyond the convention's control.
