CHERRY HILL, NJ — Whether you're in for a scare or something a bit more toned down, there are plenty of ways to spend the spooky season in Cherry Hill.

1000 Robwill Pass

This Cherry Hill house goes all out for Halloween, with animatronics, a corn maze and plenty of frightful decorations.

Members of the public can take walkthroughs from 7-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday during the Halloween season. You can also view the decorations in front of the house from 6-10 p.m. daily. Both are weather permitting. Find out more.

Halloween Festival at Philly Arts Center

Oct. 31 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.; 1930 Marlton Pike #M64

Come in costume and enjoy free kid-friendly festivities. Spooky Make + Take Art Stations and a baby Play Zone will be in full swing. Find out more and RSVP.

Halloween Hustle 5K Run/Walk

Oct. 26 at 8:30 a.m.; 1803 Ticonderoga Ln.

The second-annual Halloween Hustle is a 5K run/walk through Cherry Hill's Willowdale neighborhood on a USATF-certified course. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the starting line adjacent to 1803 Ticonderoga Ln. It will finish at the Willowdale Swim Club. Find out more.

NJ JPA Halloween Speed Puzzling Competition & Costume Contest

Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; 150 Deland Ave.

The NJ Jigsaw Puzzle Association (JPA) is hosting its first-official speed-puzzling contest. The event will have three main categories — solos, pairs and teams — with a cap of 12 people, pairs and teams per contest.

There will be prizes for the first-place finisher in each category, a costume contest and a door prize raffle for all competitors. Find out more.

Kingston Elementary Trunk or Treat

Oct. 25 from 1-3 p.m.; Kingston Elementary School playground (320 Kingston Rd.)

Kingston's eighth-annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Carnival will feature costumes, games, food, raffle baskets and, of course, trunk or treat. Tickets are available in advance or at the event — $20 per child and $35 per family. Find out more.
