Cherry Hill drew higher turnout than the last gubernatorial election. Here's how the results compare from 2021.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Supporters of Mikie Sherrill propelled higher voter turnout for Cherry Hill in the 2025 General Election.
More than 31,000 Cherry Hill residents cast ballots — a 17 percent increase over the prior gubernatorial election, when Phil Murphy defeated Jack Ciattarelli.
Cherry Hill is traditionally a Democratic stronghold, but the local electorate voted even more blue this time around.

Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill generated 21,382 votes (67.8 percent) in Cherry Hill en route to her electoral victory. Murphy received 17,220 votes (63.8 percent) as the Democratic incumbent four years prior.
Ciattarelli — the Republican candidate in both races — increased his vote total from 9,338 to 9,976. But his share of the votes fell about 3 percent.
