Hurricane Could Flood Camden Co. Roads As Erin Moves Away From NJ
Don't leave your vehicle anywhere that's prone to tidal flooding, weather officials said. Here's the latest.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — As Hurricane Erin continued traveling away from New Jersey's coastline Thursday, coastal flooding could impact Camden County over the coming days, according to forecasters.
Hurricane Erin made its closest pass to New Jersey on Thursday, bringing harsh winds and life-threatening rip currents along the Jersey Shore.
As the shore brace for significant flooding during Thursday night's high tide, communities along the Delaware River could experience minor floods, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

In Camden County, a coastal flood advisory remains in effect from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Saturday. During that period, minor tidal flooding could close roads — especially in flood-prone areas.

Don't drive your vehicle through flood waters, and don't leave your vehicle anywhere that's vulnerable to tidal flooding, says the NWS's advisory.
