Japanese Restaurant In Cherry Hill Closes Permanently

The all-you-can-eat buffet opened 2 years ago.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — An all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet in Cherry Hill has permanently closed.

Raku AYCE Sushi & Japanese Buffet opened in mid-2023, offering a selection of sushi, seafood and hot pot.

The restaurant is now listed as permanently closed on Google, and the phone number has been disconnected. Raku never publicly announced the closure, so it wasn't immediately clear when it happened.

The property is up for lease, with the listing calling it a "fully operational freestanding second generation restaurant."

Last year, Raku AYCE transferred its liquor license to Mikado Japanese Restaurant in Cherry Hill — a move the Township Council approved last December.
