New Mexican Street Food Restaurant Opens Soon In Cherry Hill

The chain, which has 11 other NJ locations, touts 'bold, flavorful takes on Mexican street eats.'

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A new Mexican restaurant is opening soon in Cherry Hill.

Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen will have a soft opening on Saturday, followed by a ribbon-cutting two weeks later.

The New Jersey-based chain touts "bold, flavorful takes on Mexican street eats." Each restaurant has a vibrant color scheme with food made fresh daily.

Cherry Hill's location (801 Haddonfield Rd.) will be Tacoria's 12th overall and the second in South Jersey. The Marlton restaurant opened in November.

"Cherry Hill is a perfect match for our next location because it is so vibrant, diverse, and full of community pride," Tacoria co-founder Vishal Patel said in a statement. "We're excited to share our food and our mission with South Jersey and build meaningful connections, one taco at a time."

At Saturday's soft launch, the first 100 guests will receive a limited-edition t-shirt or other branded merchandise. Customers who download the Tacoria app will also get a free burrito box. The restaurant will open at 11 a.m.

The grand opening at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21 will begin with a ribbon-cutting. Tacoria will host a Community Day and present a donation to The Food Bank of South Jersey.

Customers who sign up for rewards through the app will get a free burrito box, a t-shirt and other branded "swag" that day. The offer is available for the first 100 Community Day customers.
